This project began as a vision of what we wanted in an eatery: An interesting place to go with minimal fuss serving fresh, healthy, local, great tasting food and a little indulgence sprinkled in when we need some.

We didn’t want someone going to your table every two minutes asking if everything is alright, yet also did not want you to be carrying your food back to the table like a cafeteria. So come on in to: “Order and pay at the counter. We take care of the rest!” as the blackboard instructs.

Andrew and I love seeing friends meet unexpectedly and perhaps end up sharing a meal. We also love seeing new faces leave with a glow of their new food discovery. As one patron put it, “It’s like being in a friend’s kitchen.”

Another patron says: “Where do you go for good food to meet the needs of two 8 years olds, a food snob, a vegetarian, a person who spent the whole day snowboarding and someone who doesn’t know what to order…Park Squeeze.”
